Project 12: Close and involved


I used my Canon 24 – 70mm f2.8 in taking photographs at a friend son’’s second birthday party.

I noted advantages as:
  • Capturing a wider view encompassing the situation
  • Inclusion of more people within the frame
  • Capturing a wider view encompassing the situation
 
I noted the disadvantages as:
  • Being close up the camera distracted the people in the photograph and encouraged false posing with little spontaneity.

pose as a result of the close proximity of the camera when using a wide
angled lens:
